Bank bjb anda KAI Commuter sign MoU to strengthen digital payment ecosystem in public transport

Bank bjb and KAI Commuter signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on September 15, 2026, at the Depok Commuter Train Depot, Java Barat. The collaboration aims to expand banking services and develop digital payment solutions in the public transport sector. The event was attended by executives from both companies, including bank bjb's CEO Ayi Subarna and KAI Commuter's CEO Mochamad Purnomosidi. Both parties will develop a co-branded Multi-Trip Card (KMT) with combined branding, while bank bjb will support KMT purchase and reload through its DIGI platform and develop a loyalty program. The partnership is expected to strengthen the public transport payment ecosystem and provide additional value to users and the wider community.
