Duit Investor Menguap, SpaceX Bakar Rp288 T Cuma buat AI

SpaceX's upper stage Falcon 9 crashed on the Moon on August 5, 2026, after drifting in space since January 2025. The company's Q2 2026 revenue grew 92% year-on-year, but it remains unprofitable due to massive capital expenditure for AI. The upper stage was launched in January 2025 and fell near the Einstein crater at 9,000 km per hour. The object was a part of the upper stage. SpaceX spent approximately US$16 billion (Rp 288 trillion) on AI infrastructure this quarter, more than double its total revenue. Investor confidence collapsed, and the market cap fell from $1 trillion. Musk promised 10GW data center capacity by end of 2027 and $1 trillion in revenue by 2030. The capital expenditure for AI is over two times the total revenue of the group. This massive spending is a major factor in the company's financial struggles. Nvidia shares rose after Musk promised SpaceX would use Nvidia chips exclusively. Conversely, telecom stocks like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile fell because SpaceX's new satellites and spectrum would capture their customers.
