Kabar Duka: Anggota Komisi V DPR Fraksi PAN H. A Bakri Meninggal

H. A Bakri, a member of Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, has died. The news was announced on PAN's Instagram account on Tuesday (28/7/2026), with the party expressing condolences and thanking Bakri for his dedication and service. Born on 15 May 1968 in Kijang Island, Indragiri Hilir, Riau, Bakri was an entrepreneur and politician who graduated from Muhammadiyah University of Jambi. He held several leadership roles in business organizations in Jambi, including Chairman of Gapensi, Chairman of HIPMI, and Chairman of Kadin. Bakri served as a DPR member for four consecutive periods, beginning on 1 October 2009. PAN Deputy Speaker Eddy Soeparno also offered his condolences, describing Bakri as a helpful and exemplary party cadre and praying for his soul. The party’s statement includes a prayer for the deceased’s forgiveness and peace for his family.
